Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Kroam, a source-backed public-market research service operated as part of StockAlloy.
1. Research software, not investment advice
Kroam organizes public information and generates research assistance. It does not provide personalized investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice; act as a broker or adviser; or guarantee that information or model output is complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for verifying important information and for your own decisions.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. Keep your credentials secure. Do not use Kroam to break laws, abuse third-party services, bypass usage limits, scrape or resell the service without permission, probe security controls, or interfere with other users.
3. Plans, renewals, and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically for the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and handles checkout, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, and payment details. You can cancel or change an eligible subscription through the billing portal; cancellation normally preserves access through the paid period shown there.
4. Usage limits and service changes
Plans include the research-access level and features shown on the pricing page. Reasonable usage and abuse controls apply, and more resource-intensive research modes may consume access differently. We may adjust models, data sources, controls, and features to maintain quality, security, and sustainable operation. Material adverse pricing changes will apply prospectively.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in prompts you lawfully submit. You may use outputs for your own lawful research, subject to third-party source rights. Kroam, its software, branding, compilation, and proprietary data structures remain owned by their respective operators or licensors. Public filing excerpts and linked materials remain subject to their source terms.
6. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. AI can make mistakes. Market, filing, and external data may be delayed, revised, or unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted service, investment results, or fitness for a particular trading strategy.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kroam and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or investment losses arising from use of the service. Aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Kroam during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access for nonpayment, material breach, abuse, or security risk. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability terms—will survive.
9. Contact
Questions, billing issues, or legal notices can be sent to [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s principal place of business, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
